Agriturismo La Pievina would like to inform you that Legislative Decree No. 196 of 30 June 2003 (Code for the Protection of Personal Data) provides for the protection of individuals and other parties with regard to the processing of the personal data necessary to respond to your information requests.
The Data Controller (owner of the personal data for processing purposes) would like to inform you that your personal data will be used by the personnel in charge of the processing according to the purposes and methods indicated in this policy.
The Data Controller is Agriturismo La Pievina.
A. Purpose of the data processing: Your personal data will be processed for the following purposes:
1. to consult, process and respond to your request for information;
2. to fulfil any type of obligation contemplated and required by current laws, regulations, correlated standards and commercial uses, in particular, any tax and legal obligations;
3. to monitor the progress of the relationships with interested parties (to improve these relationships).
B. Method of the data processing. Your personal data will mainly be processed with electronic or automated means and will be kept in both a paper archive and in the company’s electronic database for fulfilling the obligations and purposes indicated in point (A) of this policy. The data contained in the aforesaid computer archive is processed using suitable safety measures in accordance with article 31 of Legislative Decree No. 196/03, in order to minimise the risks of destruction or loss and unauthorised access or illegal processing.
C. Nature of the collection and consequences of the refusal to respond. We would also like to inform you that communication of the data is optional, however, failure to provide information could make it impossible to respond to your request for information.
D. Data communication. The personal data collected for the purposes listed in point A, will not be communicated to third parties, unless authorised by you beforehand.
E. Rights of the data subject. The data subject has the right at any time to obtain confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning them exist and to know what it contains and the source, to check its exactness or request the integration or updating, rectification or cancellation of their data. The data subject also has the right to exercise all the other rights provided for by article 7 of Legislative Decree No. 196/2003, among which the right to object, on legitimate grounds, to the processing of their personal data. The text of the aforesaid article, containing a list of the rights recognised by law to the data subject, is reproduced below in its entirety.
Art. 7. Legislative Decree No. 196/2003 'Right of access to personal data and other rights'
1. A data subject shall have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning him/her exist, regardless of it already being recorded, and communication of such data in an intelligible form.\n2. A data subject shall have to right to be informed:
a) of the source of the personal data;\nb) of the purposes and methods of the processing;
c) of the logic applied to the processing, if the latter is carried out with the help of electronic means;
d) of the identification data concerning the data controller, data processors and representative designated as per article 5, section 2;
e) of the entities or categories of entities to whom or which the personal data may be communicated and who or which may come to know of said data in their capacity as designated representatives in the State’s territory, data processors or people in charge of the processing.
3. A data subject shall have the right to obtain:
a) updating, rectification or, where interested therein, integration of the data;
b) cancellation, anonymisation or blocking of data that has been treated unlawfully, including data whose retention is unnecessary for the purposes for which they were collected or subsequently processed;
c) certification to the effect that the operations as per letters a) and b) were notified, also in relation to their contents, to the entities to whom or which the data was communicated or disseminated, unless this requirement proves impossible or involves a manifestly disproportionate effort compared with the right that is to be protected.
4. A data subject shall have the right to object, in whole or in part:
a) on legitimate grounds, to the processing of personal data concerning him/her, even though it is relevant to the purpose of the collection;
b) to the processing of personal data concerning him/her, where it is carried out for the purpose of sending advertising materials or direct selling or for conducting market research or commercial communication surveys.
